Gender Represenation Dilemna

FAILURE TO MEET THE ONE THIRD GENDER THRESHOLD IN THE FORTHCOMING GENERAL ELECTIONS MAY END UP BEING TOO COSTLY FOR THE COUNTRY; THIS IS ACCORDING TO THE CHAIR TO THE COMMISSION ON REVENUE ALLOCATION WHO IS ASKING PARLIAMENT TO PASS THE CONSTITUTION AMENDMENT BILL IN PARLIAMENT SO THAT THE THRESHOLD CAN BE MET. AT THE SAME TIME THE CHAIRPERSON OF THE NATIONAL GENDER AND EQUALITY COMMISSION HAS INDICATE THAT IF THE THRESHOLD IS NOT MET, THE COUNTRY MAY BE FORCED TO HOLD YET ANOTHER ELECTION SINCE THE PARLIAMENT THAT WOULD BE IN PLACE WOULD BE UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
