The Judiciary Gender Audit Report 2019 is the product of an introspective institutional audit of the Judiciary on the principles of gender and inclusion as key constitutional imperatives. The report analyzes the gender sensitivity and responsiveness of the Judiciary as a whole in its internal operations and delivery on its external mandate. It also describes how the Judiciary managed its workforce and how it delivered justice to its constituents.
This report presents perceptions of youth on their involvement and on equality of opportunity in representation and participation in governance. It documents findings of the assessment in five counties namely Taita Taveta, Trans-Nzoia, Tharaka-Nithi, Nyeri and Vihiga. It makes recommendations to the National and County Governments on how to mainstream issues of youth and to ensure their effective participation in governance and development.
