Performance Contracting

Performance Contracting (PC) helps to measure the extent to which different Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) achieve targeted results. In this regard, NGEC receives and evaluates reports on progress from MDAs; incorporates and enhances performance contracting indicators on mainstreaming issues of gender, youth and PWDs; provides a quarterly reporting template for public actors; and provides guidance to MDAs on reporting.

In terms of reporting, NGEC expects MDAs to submit reports every 15th day of the quarter. The gender mainstreaming reporting tools can be downloaded from the links below .

Upon completion, the form should be submitted to NGEC through the following addresses: pcontracting(at)ngeckenya.org; with a copy to genderdcc(at)gmail.com.

Once received, the sender will receive an automated response acknowledging receipt followed by an official letter from the commission to the relevant institution.

NGEC then carries out a thorough analysis of the performance of all the institutions in terms of gender mainstreaming for the whole financial year under review and releases a comprehensive report on the same.
