The National Gender and Equality Commission actively participated in the People’s Dialogue Forum 2026, a four day platform that brought together government institutions, civil society, development partners, and citizens to deliberate on governance, development priorities, and social cohesion in Kenya.
The event provided a timely opportunity to amplify citizens’ voices, interrogate policy gaps, and strengthen accountability in public service delivery.
At the NGEC exhibition stand, the Commission engaged visitors on its constitutional mandate to promote equality, prevent discrimination, and safeguard the rights of special interest groups. Members of the public were informed about ongoing programmes, key initiatives, and the tangible impact of the Commission’s work across the country.
