The Commission continues to play a central role as the State's principal organ in ensuring compliance with constitutional provisions on equality and freedom from discrimination. Through a combination of data-driven monitoring, institutional audits, and policy oversight, the Commission is strengthening accountability across public and private sectors while embedding equality principles into governance systems.
Data-Driven Monitoring and Institutional Oversight
The Commission is continuously enhancing its monitoring systems through structured data collection, analysis, and reporting. It is conducting nationwide surveys, thematic studies, and institutional audits to assess the status of gender equality and inclusion. These efforts are informing national policy direction and identifying persistent gaps affecting Special Interest Groups.

Compliance Frameworks and Performance Monitoring
The Commission is operationalizing compliance through structured frameworks that require Ministries, Departments, Agencies, and Counties to integrate gender equality into their operations. Through performance contracting and mandatory reporting mechanisms, institutions are required to submit gender mainstreaming reports which are rigorously evaluated.

The Commission is actively reviewing laws, policies, and administrative frameworks to ensure alignment with national and international equality standards. It is submitting memoranda to Parliament, County Assemblies, and other public bodies, influencing legislation on gender equality, disability rights, and social protection.
